Transmission Numbers

I noticed today a sticker on the front side of the transmission and i was wondering if the US civics and the Canadian civics (mine is Canadian) have a slight difference in gear ratios. The number is L3-1720288. Anyone have any ideas ?

i have that same sticker on my tranny too but with diff. numbers

well both my 4 speed tranny and 5 speed tranny have L3 on them..... oh i hope that my 5 speed really is a 5 speed. (gulp)
